Areza will be organizing a local tennis tournament for weekend warriors. Format of the tournament is a little different as there will be a group stage followed by a knockout stage. Both singles and doubles players will be guaranteed to play a minimum of 3 matches.

I just came back from two quarterfinal matches at the Malaysian WTA in Bukit Kiara. I got lotsa photos for you guys down here. Here’s a summary of what I thought…
This is it… the first WTA Malaysian Open tournament. Event will start from 22nd to 28th Feb 2010 at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort. Star players includes Elena Dementieva, Sabine Lisicki, Zheng Jie, Li Na & Tamarine Tanasugarn.
The Tasik Titiwangsa DBKL public courts is located in the city center in Kuala Lumpur. It has 10 tennis courts with shower rooms & a cafeteria. It doesnt have the best courts in KL but it is located in the middle of KL so if you are staying in the city center, it would be the nearest public court.
I went to Stadium@Pavillion recently & saw this beautiful Babolat Star 5 stringing machine there. Babolat stringing machines are the industry standard in tennis stringing & they’re some of the most reliable stringing machines. Too bad I cant find any certified stringer handling the machine there.
