A few months back we heard the sad news that the Fischer tennis arm will be sold to Pacific & now I got news of a brand new Pacific/Fischer racquet collaboration. This racquet is called the Basalt X... it will be marketed under the Pacific brand name & will retain the tech from the Fischer side. New range due out in March 2010 |

yup yup, Pacific is saying the new racquets will be co-branded together with the Fischer name , which is why you can see the Fischer name on the frame

I had played Pacific racquet donkey years ago. Grey in color, coarse paint job. Heavy like no tomorrow. Can hit with forehand but totally cripple my topspin backhand. Don't think I see them anymore. Somehow, Fischer is for ang mo. Too heavy for most Asians. |
