I too play using the single handed backhand although in my opinion this stroke has its advantages, if you'll ask the pros they'll tell you that there's no clear and concise advantage over the double handed backhand except reach.

i was once a double hander it has more power to it and instant topspin but i have to run double time to get into position. then my coach switched me into using single BH i realized i can hit with the same power and the reach is like when hitting a forehand
