It will be most likely a Nadal-Djokovic Finals showdown. Fed just don't have the firepower to match these 2 guys anymore. Anyway, I'm hoping for a miracle for Fed

“31 winners to Francesca’s 12, and two breaks to her one. Na Li played the more attacking and indeed more accurate tennis today and deserved her win. She will also overtake Schiavone in the rankings and leap up to fourth, just in time for Wimbledon. Congratulations to her – she played exactly the kind of tie-break that Schiavone did against Stosur last year.” – |

Fed-up (Roger) should have won the first set when he was leading 5-2 if he were to smell the scent of victory to start with. But he lost and thats the point of a downfall. Anyway, keep it up Fed-up !!! |

Fed couldn't find his 1st serve when it mattered to closed out the 1st set. Nadal on the other hand can come back from 0-40 down. That the diff. Nadal basically owns Fed, period. |

my honest opinion? well, besides the fact that i am a notoriously die-hard Fedfan, Nadal took his opportunities very2 well,n Fed just didn't have enough firepower to finish off Rafa that day.. not entirely fair to fire Fed for missed chances,Rafa admittedly was lucky many2 times,n it could've gone 5sets if Fed did put away all those sitters.. now the real point of issue.. besides the fact that Fed got to the final n beat joint-favorite Nole in the semis,i think ppl give too much credit to Rafa for managing to defend his title..c'mon,in all honesty,u guys saw the match,u seriously telling Rafa was 110 % like he was last year? the guy was a nervous wreck from the 1st set,won it coz of Roger's weak moment, n gave up the 3rd set like Roger did the 1st? Federer rolled back the years n played reminiscent to the maestro he was when he was world no.1 for a long time n came out of the blocks blazing, playing his all-court attacking game n actually mastered Rafa repeatedly from the baseline, the BASELINE mind u,while all Rafa did was return n defend n waited for the tiniest of gaps to end the points..smart tennis? yes,the king of clay? definitely,GOAT? err, come on.. Praises to Rafa for the victory,no doubt in my mind he deserves it,how much only Rafa knows, but hats off to Roger, coz he proved by beating Novak n taking Rafa to 4sets n 3 very tight ones,n played the best RG final he ever played, that it aint over til its over.. Vamos Rafa,n keep it coming Fedex..

Yess...RAfa was too obviously nervous. He sweats a lot in a windy turf. But that nerve just doesn't last long as Federer showed him some weakness....you're right Fed just couldn't finish him(Rafa)....and then Federer gone with the wind....poor guy. |
