Would just like to convey my experience buying from this seller. I bought 2 of the above shoes from him (one black/red, one silver/grey). Upon receiving them, I noticed that there were some subtle differences between the pair of I used to have. (I owned a pair of Vapor 8 Tours black/red, bought from tennis warehouse) The texture was powdery, the red portion between the sole (for the black/red shoe) and the uppers was pink and matt rather than red and shiny. See pictures below for an example. The one on the left is the pair I got shipped and the genuine one is on the right.
Then came the insoles. I still have the original insoles from my old pair of vapor 8 tours (I wear 3rd party insoles). The insoles on these shoes were paper thin and very cardboard like, compared to the genuine insoles. See pictures below between the genuine (blue) and the insoles on these shoes (white). The original insoles are a lot more plush and clearly show the Ortholite imprint on the arch and the Nike swoosh logo on the bottom, while the white one has absolutely no markings and feels very very cheap.
I then contacted the seller and insisted these pairs cannot be genuine and demanded a refund, to which he refused. The best he could offer me was to help sell them for me, and he says he doesn't keep any stock in his inventory. He insisted the shoes were genuine and that they were identical in quality to the shoes in the Johor Premium outlets (I don't think so). He managed to help me sell one of the pairs I bought from him. I still have the other pair and it has been two months since, and he doesn't reply my messages any more.
I did some digging, and I also notice that this seller offers the shoes in the exact same colorways that j23sneakers.com (
http://www.j23sneakers.com/nike/nike-tr ... er-federer) is offering. No points for guessing where he gets his stock from.
Hopefully people won't fall into this the way I did.
